Mr. Md. Al Amin has joined Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Pirojpur as Chief Judicial Magistrate on 09/12/2024. He is a permanent resident of Shehratoli village, Sadar upazila, Jamalpur district. He joined in Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) as an Assistant Judge on 22/05/2008. During his educational career, he completed his LLB (Hons) degree in 2006 and LLM (General) degree in 2007 from the Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka. He received his European Master in Law and Economics degree in the Erasmus Mundus program from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), University of Hamburg (Germany) and Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) in 2017. In his judicial career, he has previously served as Assistant Judge, Senior Assistant Judge, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Joint District and Sessions Judge, Joint Metropolitan Sessions Judge and Additional District and Sessions Judge in Netrokona, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria districts respectively. In his personal life, he is the father of two sons, Muhammad Zahin Amin and Muhammad Zarif Amin. His wife Sara Sharmin is working as Deputy Director at Bangladesh Bank, Head Office, Dhaka. He is the author of a compilation book on land law called ‘A Manual of Land Laws in Bangladesh’. His legal articles have been published in the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI) journal. He has participated in various professional training courses in his judicial career and successfully completed them.
